DVD-RW ILO/Lite-ON SSW-80155 firmware -> Advent ERT2250

Hello, ive not been able to find firmware for this burner, least not on liteon site- anyone know where it is located?

closest @ liteon is the SSW-8015SX

You sure it's 80155 not 8015S

The 8111 has an SSW-8015S which I tried reflashing with the last firmware and no go.

The XFlash utility errors with "No matched drive detected. This utility is only for Slimtype DVDRW SSW-8015S drive.
Detected drives
0-0-0-0 G: SlimtypeDVDRW SSW-8015S HV3"

HV3 is the current firmware from April 2006

i got the model from device manager and theres definately an S on the end there :/

thanks. that utility is reporting that it ''maybe'' disabled.

on initial query i got:

Type Code : No drive region setting
# of Vendor Resets Available : 4
# of User Controlled Changes Available : 5
Drive region not set yet.

after hitting disable i got this following query

052400 INVALID FIELD IN CDB
RPC maybe disabled.

oh shoot i just voided my warranty again..
