Postby good_sir_knight » Wed Jan 31, 2007 6:04 pm

Hi lads

just got the above laptop, seems to be working well but there doesnt seem to be any touchpad settings in control panel and no driver for download anywhere.

is there anywhere i can find one perhaps? i use a usb mouse but the cursor jumps around when i brush off the touchpad, and i really want to be able to disable it when the usb mouse is attached

thanks guys

hi,
from default, the settings for the mousepad should be in the tray icon area , as a grey square with two grey dots below it. But it looks like you have deleted it in the past.
by right clicking on this icon you can change the settings of the touchpad and also disable it. [[also note there is an option to remove this from the tray icon area ]]
the version i have on my advent is v7.13.06 and is a synaptics touchpad.

here is a url where you can find the application etc

cheers
