Advent 7113- not enough memory

I am currently trying to update my iPhone on iTunes but it says to do this I need 13gb memory, but my laptop says it only has 1gb left..... How do I get rid of some stuff to make more memory space??

The 7113 has an 80GB hard drive which may be short of capacity.
Either delete some of your personal files or transfer them to an external hard drive to free-up space.
