Please help,
I have an Advent 5302 that goes to a white screen if I toggle the wireless on (Fn/F10). If I toggle the wireless back off, make the computer 'sleep' and then 'wake' it up, it comes back to a good screen again. This makes me think it's not a connection problem.
It has also recently been shutting down automatically due I think to overheating so I opened it up and cleaned the dust out of the fan air exit grill. This has helped though not solved the problem, as it powered down again last night, and didn't seem too hot even though it had been on for maybe 5 hours.
I had it cleaned out previously (about 18 months ago) by a techie for the same reason, and noticed that the small light that comes on when you toggle the wireless on stopped working when he returned it.
Finally I also had the motherboard replaced about a year ago as there was a power problem (wouldn't charge).
I'm currently working in Hanoi Vietnam and have limited ways to get it fixed, so really need to get to the bottom of the problem before i try and find the solution!!!
Thanks for any help you can give.
