Default boot order

Postby mancstar » Sun Jan 29, 2012 4:29 pm

Hi, could someone please tell me what the default boot order should be. Im trying to reformat my friends 9117 and when i go into the bios, boot order, it doesnt seem right to me. When i press "setup defaults" it lists the order as

!: USB KEY:
2: USB FDC:
3: USB HDD:
4: IDE CD: Optriarc DVD RW
5: USB CDROM
6: IDE HDD:
7: PCI BEV:

Also im trying to change the boot order so it will boot from disk and when i try to move the device up or down using + and - it doesnt work

Can someone please help me, my brain is frazzled!
Thanks Rob

It looks ok.
Providing 1-5 don't contain anything bootable the notebook will boot from the internal hard drive (assuming it contains a working o/s)
You can also select what to boot by pressing F12 at POST
