full destructive recovery

I have an Advent K4000 with Windows Vista and have had to do a full destructive recovery, after I have done it it ask me to wait until Windows starts for the first time. It then try to start windows but does not get to the desk top screen and keeps trying to restart over and over again. can any one help.
