my advent screen is playing up. At the moment it is working perfectly as long as it does not move from this position. However, when I switch on it takes me ages to get the screen in a position where i can read it. The screen has lots of lines all over it and it freezes or fades. IHas anyone else had this problem? Is this caused by a loose connection? Do I need a new screen? If yes where can I get one from and are they easy to fit?
PC World have told me I need a brand new screen at a cost of £270. I could buy a new laptop for that...Does anyone have any other suggestions.
