Advent 5431 Recovery DVD

Hi new here my friend has bought his wife an Advent 5431 for xmas.
They burned a recovery disk and after tryin to install mcafee they could not login to vista.
So they went down the recovery route...

They chose something like destructive recovery?

Any how they had put in the recovery dvd and started the recovery but after a few minutes it asked them for the next media?
What next media there was only one!!!!

So now they have a nice looking place mat !!

Does any one here have a recovery dvd for advent 5431? Instead of the insane £35 + £2.50 p&p the techguys want we are willing to pay some one for a copy but not the ransome of £37.50 thay want but if that is the case then they gonna have to bit the bullet..

Did you manage to get your backup media? I have a customer who has just purchased a 5431 so if you need I can burn you off a set of disks. Failing that put Ubuntu Linix on it, be doing your friend a favour.

I can't get my 5431 to load windows (vista home ed) at all. I've tried everything I can think of including destructive recovery and now as a last resort, I need a kind soul to take pity and lend/sell/send me a set of recovery DVDs.... please.
