Advent6412DVD running Megatrend AMIBIOS

I have been given for my work an ADVENT 6412DVD pre-loaded with Megatrend AMIBIOS. I want to install Windows XP but the computer only has the top 1/3 of the screen active. Any ideas on bringing the whole screen to life and thus enabling me to install XP?

Can you see all the windows screen (is it reduced size) or are two thirds cut off and missing?

The whole screen is illuminated but only the top1/3rd is active. When the computer is switched on the Megatrend logo etc appears. Any further ideas for a solution?
