Advent T9509 PSU Upgrade

Hi just upgraded my advent t9509's PSU from the stock ISO-450pp 350w to a EZcool PS-05 550w

The stock PSU was barely enough to boot and run the system - I was getting a long delay with powering up the machine, since the new PSU was installed it now boots up much faster with no delays
To be honest I don’t understand how it's faster to boot it just is.

The new PSU also has a large 12cm fan that sits just underneath the PSU and is great for pulling the heat from the CPU my system is running much cooler now that’s always a good thing

I am now getting a 512MB EVGA e-GeForce 8800GT GDDR3 PCIE Dual DVI Fan Graphics Card as there is enough power for it now

Anyone know how the system boots faster I would like to know?

I read your message which helped inspire me to upgrade my T9509 computer. I've got a Samsung LE40A656 TV on order through Dixons for £833, which was launched in March 2008 for £1300!!! .
The screen resolution is 1920 x 1080 so i figured that i must upgrade my graphics card to get the best out of it's digital high definition capabilty.
I installed a super silent EZcool PS-05 650W without great difficulty for £30. Then i upgraded my ram memory to 4GB for £32 and then i installed a 320MB GeForce 8800GTS for £114. I had to move my hard drive towards the bottom of the case to get this monster graphics card inserted.
I'm now proud to say that my Windows Experience Index ( which ranges from zero to a top score of 5.9) has gained 2.2!

Before Upgrade: Processor 5.9, Memory 5.5, Graphics 3.4, Gaming Graphics 4.2, Hard Disk 5.6.

After Upgrading: Processor 5.9, Memory 5.7, Graphics 5.9, Gaming Graphics 5.9, Hard Disk 5.6.

Further upgrade to my Advent T9509 computer with a new HITACHI, 750GB DeskStar® 7K1000 (Model: HDS721075KLA330), SATA 3 Gb/s, 7200 RPM, 32MB cache has given the following scores:

Processor 5.9, Memory 5.7, Graphics 5.9, Gaming Graphics 5.9, Hard Disk 5.9.
