Base system drivers could be chipset, card reader etc. If you look in Device Manager and locate the DEV IDs of the hardware with problems and post here we may be able to help.
You should be able to reinstall Win 7 with the drivers from the recovery media you made.

The Realtek 8111D seems popular ATM. Have you tried drivers for that?
