Is it a Medion notebook?
Base system drivers could be chipset, card reader etc. If you look in Device Manager and locate the DEV IDs of the hardware with problems and post here we may be able to help.
You should be able to reinstall Win 7 with the drivers from the recovery media you made.

BTW
I've removed your post in the drivers thread. Please do not post the same request in different forums. It confuses people.

The base system device is the card reader. It's a Jmicron MS Host Controller not sure which chip though.

enternet ids
Value - NTPNP_PCI0022

This is not the VEN ID for the ethernet device
The Realtek 8111D seems popular ATM. Have you tried drivers for that?

Having real problems with my M200 Advent Modena, having installed the above wifi drivers, it takes alright as compatible drivers, but no signal on the wifi box, and windows 7 reports may be a problem with the driver.?
Any ideas?
