Hi I don't have a floppy and the SATA drivers require it, how can I extract the files to slipstream them?

Hi all,

I have a 7204 that has been using win7rc for the past year. I have a Vista & XPpro licence, but would prefer to use XP.

I followed the above post with nlite but the drivers required a floppy to extract. Can anyone suggest either another post or a solution.

thanks csb

I'm using Virtual-Box and the image runs to the partition stage, so I stopped (only for time).

Can you tell me how (If can/if I need to) set (VB) to sata, or do I have to burn a disk to test it on my 7204 ?

Thanks Ranibeke,

The 2 ICH7 files did the trick and let xp install.

Next job is to get the additional OEM files added to my install disk, but that is a lot easier now, having a working base .

thanks again csb
