It came OEM so there were no drivers etc. provided with it and it was on Windows Vista. I tried windows vista for a bit but didn't really like it, it seemed a bit sluggish and overly complicated so I thought I'd switch back to XP because I like things nice and simple.
I did not however think I would spend the next 3 hours after installing XP on a mad search for XP drivers for the SiSM672MX chipset which is used on the Advent 9415, or so I have learned. TheTechGuys support website isn't much use as they only have Vista drivers on them, and the SiS website seemed to only have Vista drivers too.
I tried a couple of the threads here like the "Find 99% of Advent drivers" but unfortunately a few on the links were broken. Anyways enough is enough here are all the drivers I installed to get it up and running on Windows XP.
1. First of all the Wireless Lan Drivers - The built in wireless lan card on my laptop was the Realtek RTL8187B. The Drivers for this can be found here at the bottom of the page here (look under RTL8187B):

2. Next you are the Audio drivers, this device was Realtek again, and you want "Realtek High Definition Audio Drivers". You can get the latest drivers by typing it in google and going to the official website but the download speed never went past about 10kbp/s for me, so I got some older drivers here (they work absolutely perfectly, no sound distortion at all):

"SiS use unified drivers which are compatible with all their recent chipsets.
The SiS supported chipsets page has not been updated probably due to an oversight. The Versiontracker drivers are older (uvga3_384.zip) than the ones available from SiS

I hope this helps anyone who has the same predicament as I did. Also if I've been a moron and missed an obvious thread/site providing the perfect XP drivers for the Advent 9415 or got anything wrong in the post above. Please let me know so I can change it and download the drivers for myself
